*Aggression is a normal communication that all dogs use in varying contexts. Aggression is not a character flaw or an overall label intended for a dog, but rather a form of communication. That is not to say that this form of communication is appropriate in all situations. The focus of any aggressive behavior is to determine the root and work with the dog to desensitize the scary situation or object or help them understand how to remove themself from the situation.
